Fix it!

After every ride it is a good idea to go over the bike and fix any problems, remove the bread wrappers and duct tape holding things on that were broken and order new parts for replacements.

I received my new speedometer that I ordered from Brussels, $100 vs $300 from BMW, it was a very easy install. New plastic bolts from Aeroflow, great idea to have them sheer off instead of breaking the wind screen. I ordered a new seat and foam and hinges for the panniers.

Oil change, gear oil for the drive shaft, clean the air filter and inspect the bike. Oh yes, new powder coat for the engine guards, yes the beast is heavy and it should be kept perpendicular when off road… The good thing is I now have only three miles on the bike acording to the speedo!
