The 2007 GS shaved off almost 70 pounds and increased the horse power close to 20% over the 2004 1150 GS. My test ride out to the West Desert was incredible, The GS accelerates like a rocket and easily tops out at 130+ mph, Gripping curves on twistie roads with confidence as your toes drag while leaning deep into the corners. Smooth and quiet cruising in comfort while getting 50 miles per gallon. Once you are accustomed to a BMW there is no other bike that you will be satisfied with.
